Who Comes to Church?

Although many in the congregation can claim Highland roots, there is a distinct emphasis to reach out to all in the city – especially to the large student constituency including those from overseas.

The communicant membership of the congregation currently stands at 94 and attendances at Sunday services average 150 in the morning and 80 in the evening.

We have a crèche, Sunday School classes for children aged 3 to 11, a Bible class for secondary school youngsters from S1 to S5 and a Youth Fellowship for the student age group.

Our Associate Minister, Finlay helps with preaching and pastoral work in the church as well as with our sister church in Campbeltown.  Additionally James Ross works alongside his wife Vickie in an outreach to international students. You’ll also find a host of other groups such as a Ladies’ Fellowship, a series of Community Bible Study groups and a Senior Citizens Group.
